Fanny Anderson, BSc

Fanny is a Community Development Coordinator, she supports Indigenous and rural communities with funding, program development, research, communications, and project coordination. She enjoys working closely with communities to understand their priorities and help move projects from ideas into action.

Fanny holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and is currently completing a Master of Health Science (MHSc) in Advanced Health Care Practice, with a focus on Health Equity and Sustainability. Her studies have expanded her interest in how access to services, geography, community capacity, and broader social and environmental factors shape health and well-being, particularly in rural and underserved communities.

Her work at KES brings these interests together through projects focused on community development, capacity building, funding, and long-term planning.

Based in Victoria, BC, Fanny enjoys balancing project work with getting outside whenever she can. Outside of work, you’ll usually find her hiking or trail running, baking something, or exploring Vancouver Island with her dog, Honey.
