Sarah Roberts, MSc

Biodiversity Analyst

Sarah is a versatile environmental consultant with a Master’s degree in Environmental Protection and Management and a diverse background in technical consultancy, biodiversity assessments, and ecological research.

For her Master’s dissertation, Sarah honed her fieldwork, GIS mapping, and ecological modeling skills by conducting field surveys and developing a species distribution model to assess site suitability for seagrass restoration projects. She has successfully delivered both policy-driven and research-based environmental science projects for UK government agencies, contributing to the development of statutory biodiversity assessment models and leading qualitative research on seafood supply chain traceability. These experiences highlight her ability to bridge the gap between scientific research and practical application.

Passionate about ecological restoration, Sarah applies her research expertise, along with her skills in GIS and environmental modeling, to support projects aimed at restoring and protecting natural ecosystems. She is committed to delivering innovative, science-based solutions to address pressing environmental challenges.

Originally from the UK, Sarah is now based in the Kootenays, where she enjoys skiing at Whitewater and exploring the backcountry. She also loves camping and hiking.
