Mikayla Davis, BSc, BIT


Mikayla is a biologist specializing in freshwater biology and environmental studies. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology from the University of Victoria. Her commitment to professional growth is evident through her active engagement in various projects and fieldwork endeavors.

Mikayla has experience in project management, water quality sampling, wildlife and plant identification and sampling, as well as data collection and analysis. Her multifaceted skill set extends to environmental education and community and Indigenous engagement initiatives, emphasizing her commitment to inclusive and collaborative approaches.

In addition to her ecological proficiency, Mikayla has extensive experience in the mining sector. Her knowledge encompasses the intricacies of permitting and regulatory processes, reflecting her ability to navigate complex regulatory frameworks with precision and efficacy. Mikayla has her Biologist in Training accreditation and is currently working towards her Registered Professional Biologist accreditation, with a strong interest in freshwater and fisheries biology.

In her spare time, Mikayla enjoys biking, hiking, gardening, skiing, and enjoying time outdoors with her dog, Milo.
